Frequently Asked Questions

Get clarity on common inquiries regarding our teaching philosophy and approach.

What is your teaching philosophy?

I believe educators must see students as humans first and learners second. School should be a whole-body experience, not just an academic one, because students who are struggling mentally, physically, emotionally, or socially cannot fully thrive in the classroom. My teaching centers on connection, care, and culturally responsive practices that honor who students are and what they need. By creating a safe, supportive environment and nurturing the whole child, I help students build confidence, engage deeply, and grow into strong readers, writers, and thinkers.

How do you support diverse learners?

I implement intentional instruction tailored to individual needs, such as audio, visual and language support, ensuring that all students receive the proper tools they require for academic success.

What subjects do you teach?

As a Secondary English Teacher, I focus on reading, writing, and critical analysis to enhance students' communication & literacy skills.

How do you create a positive classroom culture?

By prioritizing relationships, collaboration, and consistency, I cultivate an environment where every student feels valued and capable. All literature and lessons are centered around cultural backgrounds and educating students about the world around them.

What experience do you have in education?

I have extensive experience in K–12 English education, higher education admissions, and community engagement.
